Hello, I've created a package for fonts-fira. I tried to contact the pkg-fonts-devel mailinglist. But it seems my message was spam filtered.
The package is here https://github.com/ruediger/fonts-fira at the moment and can be build via "debuild -us -uc -A". I wish to move it upstream into the Debian Fonts project if there is interest.
