I confirm that Synaptic also fails to build on Linux Mint the same way: it looks for a patch file with the extension based on the current distro, and fails if it's not "Debian" or "Ubuntu".
IIRC, I've used a workaround: copied .Ubuntu patch file into .LinuxMint patch file (Mint is based on Ubuntu, so no problems here). After that, the compilation was successful. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
