When enabling "focus follows mouse", and disabling "autoraise on focus", fullscreen windows are automatically raised when the mouse enters them. I searched for this problem in the web and found https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62208 which exactly describes the problem, just in context of KDE and presumably fixed in 2004. Maybe there is some general underlying problem in X? I am using an EeePC, and on this hardware (resolution 1024x600), full-screen mode is very useful, but autoraise makes fullscreenmode barely usable. That is the rationale for my classification "important". The problem may be related to #398053 or #461967 as well. I am not sure which package exactly causes this behavior. I would think it should be the window manager. But I used Wheezy with Gnome Classic (=> metacity), Gnome/Openbox (=> openbox) and LXDE (openbox), and the problem was present in all of these setups.
