Package: gnome-music Version: 3.12.0-2 Severity: important "important" on the theory that it presumably works for others; if not, this should be RC.
Running gnome-music produces a window with the following text: "No music found! Put some files into the folder /home/josh/media/music" However: ~$ find /home/josh/media/music -name '*.ogg' -o -name '*.mp3' -o -name '*.flac' | wc -l 798 I have lots of music in that folder; gnome-music just doesn't see it. - Josh Triplett -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-music depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.20.0-2 ii gir1.2-glib-2.0 1.40.0-2 ii gir1.2-grilo-0.2 0.2.10-1 ii gir1.2-gst-plugins-base-1.0 1.2.4-1 ii gir1.2-gstreamer-1.0 1.2.4-1 ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.12.1-1 ii gir1.2-notify-0.7 0.7.6-2 ii gir1.2-totem-plparser-1.0 3.10.2-1 ii gir1.2-tracker-0.16 0.16.2-1+b2 ii gnome-settings-daemon 3.8.5-2 ii grilo-plugins-0.2 0.2.12-2+b1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.12.0-1 ii libc6 2.18-5 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.12.16-2 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.30.7-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.40.0-3 ii libgtk-3-0 3.12.1-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.3-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.3-1 ii python3 3.3.4-1 ii python3-dbus 1.2.0-2+b2 ii python3-gi 3.12.1-1 ii python3-gi-cairo 3.12.1-1 pn python3:any <none> ii tracker 0.16.2-1+b2 gnome-music recommends no packages. gnome-music suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
