Hi, Perhaps part of a solution for this bug is to include and use the upstream minidlna.service systemd unit, if that is allowed in Debian. This bug sounds like minidlna works fine with SysV init anyway.
The unit file has "After=network.target". It works for me on my Arch Linux install, which has the unchanged upstream .service file included with its minidlna package.
