Coin,Due to recent changes in Apache, a lot of AH01797 errors are triggered by the access_compat module. As it may take some time to users to convert all their ACL and all web-related Debian packages have not upgraded their shipped configuration yet, i think it would be best to ignore such kind of messages and avoid banning people for no good reason.
