There is currently in all Icedove versions a symbol mismatching between the core Icedove itself and the original Lightning extension. We working on that. The symbol mismatch did not happen with the equivalent Debian package for Lightning -> 'iceowl-extension'. So remove Lightning and please use iceowl-extension instead. Christoph is preparing a new upload for s-s with a root mail for announcing what to do.
