Package: docker.io
Version: 0.9.1~dfsg1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The provided docker.io's systemd configuration does not honour
/etc/default/docker.io daemon options, so the user is forced to override the
configuration completely if they want to pass a particular option to the
daemon.

I understand the fix would be to change the configuration to do:

  [Service]
  EnvironmentFile=-/etc/default/docker.io
  ExecStart=/usr/bin/docker.io -d $DOCKER_OPTS

That way, the daemon startup options can be overriden from
/etc/default/docker.io as it is usually expected.

For an example of another system that does this, see sshd
(/lib/systemd/system/ssh.service).

Thanks!
                Alberto
