Every time I started phpMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin/) I got the following message: "phpMyAdmin configuration storage is not completely configured, some functionality were disabled. To see the reason, click here." (it's displayed in french on my box so I roughly translated it). I Googled a bit about this message and found a workaround. The problem that PMA's config file is located in /etc/phpmyadmin but PMA expects it in /usr/share/phpmyadmin. The workaround consists in creating /usr/share/config.inc.php with the content : " require /etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php " Thanks for your work !
