Package: enigmail Version: 2:1.5.1+id17-3~deb7u1 Followup-For: Bug #707877
I might be affected by the same bug that appeared after I installed a security update for icedove 1 or 2 days ago. When I write a message and click on "send" an error message appears: "Error in OpenPGP; Encryption/signing failed; send unencrypted message?" I always clicked abort instead of "send unencrypted". With this bug I can't write or sign E-Mails with enigmail and I have to workaround this bug by using kgpg to sign and encrypt mails (not practial!). Decryption and signature checking seems to work. Architecture is armhf, Debian GNU/Linux Wheezy is used. This is the output of enigdebug.txt when I tried to send an encrypted message. I think the line at the bottom where it says something about "reference error" and "gIOService is not defined" might be important. I replaced the debug output path with $PATH and the receipient E-Mail Address with $RECEIPIENT 2014-05-07 17:46:01.664 enigmailCommon.jsm: parseErrorOutput: 2014-05-07 17:46:01.670 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: parseErrorOutput: statusFlags = 000a0001 2014-05-07 17:46:01.673 enigmail.js: Enigmail.execCmd: subprocess = '/usr/bin/gpg' 2014-05-07 17:46:01.674 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: WriteFileContents: file=/$PATH/eniginp.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:01.676 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: WriteFileContents: file=/$PATH/enigcmd.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:01.714 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: WriteFileContents: file=/$PATH/enigenv.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:01.770 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: Enigmail.execCmd: copied command line/env/input to files /$PATH/enigcmd.txt/enigenv.txt/eniginp.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:01.771 [CONSOLE] enigmail> /usr/bin/gpg --charset utf-8 --display-charset utf-8 --batch --no-tty --status-fd 2 --fixed-list-mode --with-colons --list-keys 38D5F80007771EB9 2014-05-07 17:46:02.058 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: WriteFileContents: file=/$PATH/enigout.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:02.078 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: WriteFileContents: file=/$PATH/enigerr.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:02.081 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: Enigmail.execCmd: copied command out/err data to files /$PATH/enigout.txt/enigerr.txt 2014-05-07 17:46:02.082 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: Enigmail.execCmd: exitCode = 0 2014-05-07 17:46:02.082 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: Enigmail.execCmd: errOutput = 2014-05-07 17:46:02.083 enigmailCommon.jsm: parseErrorOutput: 2014-05-07 17:46:02.083 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: parseErrorOutput: statusFlags = 00000000 2014-05-07 17:46:02.084 [CONSOLE] 2014-05-07 17:46:02.085 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: stillActive: 2014-05-07 17:47:00.966 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.sendMessageListener 2014-05-07 17:47:00.967 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: getVersion 2014-05-07 17:47:00.968 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: installed version: 1.5.1 2014-05-07 17:47:00.969 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.modifyCompFields: otherRandomHeaders = X-Enigmail-Version: 1.5.1 2014-05-07 17:47:00.970 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.encryptMsg: msgType=0, Enigmail.msg.sendMode=3 2014-05-07 17:47:00.976 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.encryptMsg: currentId=[nsIMsgIdentity: id3], [email protected] 2014-05-07 17:47:00.978 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.getAccDefault: identity=id3 value=enabled 2014-05-07 17:47:00.979 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.encryptMsg:gMsgCompose=[xpconnect wrapped nsIMsgCompose] 2014-05-07 17:47:00.981 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.keySelection 2014-05-07 17:47:00.982 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.getAccDefault: identity=id3 value=signPlain 2014-05-07 17:47:00.984 [DEBUG] signPlain=true 2014-05-07 17:47:00.985 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeOverlay.js: Enigmail.msg.keySelection: toAddr=$RECEIPIENT 2014-05-07 17:47:00.985 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeHelper.js: getRecipientsKeys: emailAddrs=$RECEIPIENT 2014-05-07 17:47:00.986 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: getRulesData 2014-05-07 17:47:00.988 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: loadRulesFile 2014-05-07 17:47:00.989 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: getRulesFile 2014-05-07 17:47:00.990 [DEBUG] enigmailMsgComposeHelper.js: getRecipientsKeys: emailAddrs= 2014-05-07 17:47:00.992 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: getRulesData 2014-05-07 17:47:00.993 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: loadRulesFile 2014-05-07 17:47:00.994 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: getRulesFile 2014-05-07 17:47:00.996 [DEBUG] enigmail.js: Enigmail.encryptMessage: 12 bytes from 0x07771EB9 to $RECEIPIENT (354) 2014-05-07 17:47:00.997 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: encryptMessageStart: uiFlags=16, from 0x07771EB9 to $RECEIPIENT, hashAlgorithm=null (00000162) 2014-05-07 17:47:00.998 [DEBUG] enigmailCommon.jsm: getEncryptCommand: hashAlgorithm=null 2014-05-07 17:47:01.002 enigmailCommon.jsm: execStart: command = /usr/bin/gpg --charset utf-8 --display-charset utf-8 --batch --no-tty --status-fd 2 --comment Using GnuPG with Icedove -
