make is part of build-essential, and the dependency closure of
the built-essential is pretty large already. Currently make depends
only on libc, adding guile support adds libraries not in /bin, and adds
the allowing packages to the dependencies:
guile-2.0-libs, libgc1c2 (>= 1:7.2d)
A separate package is also somewhat problematic; since the same
source package will have to have two separate build processes, since
one must configure first with, and without, guile support, and each
debian/rules target would need separate handling. This is doable, but
might be ncer with build profile support that is still not quire ready
for prime time use.
So, I am markgin this as wontfix for now, and revisit this
later.
