I'll keep it in the package but I'll add the necessary rmdir magic to remove /etc/udev. There's room for improvement in the package purge procedure, it seems :/ This really is a non-issue, as udev will be obsole^Wstandard by the time Etch releases, so every desktop system will probably have it installed...
