I suggest pinging the MIA team instead, especially since you're
willing to adopt this package. Given that the package isn't orphaned,
I don't know what you expected to achieve by cc-ing debian-qa. If you
want to NMU scribus, or adopt it once the MIA team orphans the
package, debian-mentors is your point of contact, not debian-qa.
