Yes, because the GRUB bug/support load is already too much for me to
handle.

The solution to an overcomplicated piece of packaging is not to make it
more complicated!

Frankly, if I'm going to change anything, I would rather remove *all*
the examples from /etc/default/grub, and defer entirely to the
documentation.  I don't think it's the course of wisdom in the long term
to attempt to duplicate the documentation in comments in
/etc/default/grub.
