Dear Maintainer,
For some reason, I've only managed to get a document with bibliography if
\bibliography is invoked just before \end{document}.
However, my document requires the bibliography to be inside the first
section. Manually executing latex twice, bibtex once and latex twice
produces the correct result whenever it is that I place the \bibliography
command.
