Hello,
could you pleasse reconsider supporting (x)inetd support for tftpd-hpa?
I have looked at bugreports related to xinetd:
- tftpd-hpa must be run as root (for now) when run via inetd
bug 505367
- daemon/inetd mode misunderstanding
bug 272882
- init script should not exit with non-zero exit status just because daemon
bug 539000
I think all of these could be fixed easily.
We use remap file that changes often and I found it better to use inetd
instead of reloading tftpd each time remap changes...
