Package: bind9 Severity: normal According to [0], bind9 should be compiled with "-fno-delete-null-pointer-checks" added to CFLAGS, in order to avoid certain optimizations that occur when compiled with gcc 4.9 that can cause the server process to crash. I've also written an article [1] on the topic with a little more background info.
