Partly, but my question is not limited to just lcms2. Judging from your
email address, you have some experience with the PPC architecture :)
So, the question is if the current version of AC_C_BIGENDIAN would
detect ppc and ppc64el correctly - I may then work with upstream to
get a proper and more general solution implemented for lcms2.
