I'm having the same issue as described. Also, this seems to be a
duplicate of #747120...
On the same machine, in two different terminals, I started a compile
(and make-kpkg) of both, 3.14.6 and 3.15.
3.14.6 built successfully while 3.15 failed with the error:
"/etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools: 35:
/etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools: update-initramfs: not found"
