Package: awesfx
Version: 0.5.1a-1.1
Followup-For: Bug #749342
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
Still not reliably running asfxload at boot time.
after a few tries of
service alsa-utils restart
(not alsasound as previously reported)
asfxload successfully ran, and the following device files were showing
under /dev/snd:
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 400 Jun 15 00:35 .
drwxr-xr-x 15 root root 3580 Jun 15 00:33 ..

I don't know what creates the device files, but it seems crazy
that they are created some times and not others with the same
software and hardware after a reboot.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
* What was the outcome of this action?
* What outcome did you expect instead?
