IceWM has a bug which makes every Qt5 application unusable. The program seems to start in theory, but no GUI window ever appears. This can be tested e.g. with "qtcreator" or any other application that uses Qt5. This has been fixed upsteam here: http://sourceforge.net/p/icewm/git/ci/395cfbb56a4adaee7028cfcbe6177ec0b94c181d/ I have verified the fix by applying that patch to the icemw 1.3.7-5 package and rebuilding, Qt5 apps now run fine for me. The patch is part of the upstream 1.3.8 release, please upgrade if possible. Thanks!
