Well, are you actually sure the shutdown is triggered by systemd? It's very likely that you have something like acpi-support-base installed, which does react on such power events. If you stop the systemd-logind.service and you hit the power button, does the system shutdown? If so, you'll need to find out which package does that. In this case the package needs to not react on power events when logind is active.
