Subject: icewm manpage longoptions syntax typo Package: icewm Version: 1.3.7-4 Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer, starting icewm from command line requires either variable DISPLAY set or option display invoked, e.g. ``icewm --display :9.0''. The manpage lacks of a ``-'' for this longoption, as it states ``[-display DISPLAY]''. The version ``icewm -display :9.0'' does *not* work. Maybe (unchecked) same issue for ``[-debug]''. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages icewm depends on: ii icewm-common 1.3.7-4 ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u1 ii libesd0 0.2.41-10+b1 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7.1 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-5 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.33.12+really2.32.4-5 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.1-2+deb7u1 ii libxft2 2.3.1-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.2-1+deb7u1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.3.2-2+deb7u1 ii ttf-dejavu-core 2.33-3 icewm recommends no packages.
