This is the Wookey untested special due to impatience and inability to actually attempt to communicate with fellow developers so I've not had time to fully test before uploading and releasing.
I am very saddened to read such mean words in a Debian changelog. Please refrain from expressing you anger is such way in the future. It doesn't help anyone.
More importantly, keep in mind that someone's (alleged) “impatience and inability to actually attempt to communicate” is not excuse for not testing your packages.
Last but not least, please familiarize yourself with Developer's Reference §5.11.3 and §5.11.4 before complaining about an NMU attempt. There was nothing wrong with the way Wookey handled this bug, as far as I can tell. And even if there had been flaws, that's not justification for the rude words Wookey received.
