libmlt6 in unstable still conflicts with every previous version. Re-opening based on policy ยง8.2: "If your package contains files whose names do not change with each change in the library shared object version, you must not put them in the shared library package." My suggestion to address this bug is to place the conflicting files in /usr/lib/mltN instead of /usr/lib/mlt. Additionally, since libmlt6 is now multi-arch, the paths all changed. I don't see it actually containing any of the same files as libmlt5, so is that Conflicts really needed?
