Package: samba Version: 2:3.6.6-6+deb7u4 Severity: important Tags: upstream fixed-upstream patch
Apparently upstream bug #9139 applies to the samba version in wheezy, making it impossible to use it in an AD setting. See the original report (with patch) at https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9139 Symptoms are that kerberos auth succeeds but the server responds NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE and logs auth/user_krb5.c:211(make_server_info_krb5) make_server_info_info3 failed: NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_USER! There is a valid username mapping between AD users and local users, and the same config works on squeeze. -- Arto Jantunen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
