Dear Maintainer, Please consider dropping the iproute build-dependency from your package as it doesn't seem to be needed at all. The iproute package is now a transitional package and all dependencies on it should be replaced with iproute2. Your package on the other hand doesn't seem to actually need it (it was once in a time long before the package entered debian used, but cloud-init seems to since then switch to using the netlink interface directly instead of invoking the iproute2 utilities).
