Good news again, it appears this bug has been fixed in a previous version. When trying, with current Jessie's version, to download a .tar.gz file, like: http://chezlefab.net/share/bugrep/victory.tar.gz On first try, a victory.tar.gz is created. On second try, a victory(1).tar.gz is created. I hence recommend to close this bug.
