Package: abcde Version: 2.5.4-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch cddb-tool uses the -a flag to the mail command to add a header line. GNU mailutils does not have an -a flag, and heirloom-mailx uses it to attach a file instead, hence if either of those is installed as /usr/bin/mail, then cddb-tool will not work.
I have filed a bug about this upstream: https://code.google.com/p/abcde/issues/detail?id=111 For Debian, there’s a simple workaround: make abcde depend on bsd-mailx (as different packages providing “mailx” can be installed together), and change line 199 of cddb-tool to invoke “bsd-mailx” rather than “mail”.
