qemu just ignores "legacy" shortcuts (including -cdrom, -hda, etc)
with -M q35.  This has been this way since the day when q35 has
been implemented (tagging with 1.7.0 because I don't remember when
it happened).

This is actually the same as 751078, I'm mergeing the two and setting
severity of both to "normal".

It is also of the same theme as #753887.
