Package: ftp.debian.org
Followup-For: Bug #756408

As I already reported to Debian FTP Team in the IRC channel, upstream
developers and maintainers almost disappeared for a long time now.

Only a couple of minor commits have been made during this year by a
co-maintainer, that however cannot take any decision on releasing.

I'm subscribed to the project mailing lists and nor commits nor
announces have been sent there for a while, let's say a year at least.
The mailman service for the project is down(!), so I cannot prove it
with a link or something... at this point, you must take my word ;-)

I've idled in the IRC channel of the project of Freenode since the
beginning of my packaging duties and, at present time, only one
developer is idling there but if I try to contact him about project aims
and possible evolutions, he says he cannot decide and that the chief
developer is busy on other projects so he cannot help on yafaray.

Sad, but at this point yafaray has no good reason to stay in the
archives; however, I'm keeping the git repository of yafaray on Alioth
so if the situation should vary, it would be easy to re-introduce it
back.

Thanks for considering.
