I've now been able to test django-testscenarios against django1.7 and what I thought should be a simple test has shown significant issues.
The changes in django1.7 cause breakage in the django-testscenarios testsuite and there will be insufficient time to fix the test suite (and likely the packages which depend on django-testscenarios) ahead of the Jessie freeze. As Django1.7 has not been released upstream, it is premature to force a migration unnecessarily. IMHO there is no good reason to migrate to a django pre-release at this time and insufficient time after the django release to migrate the reverse dependencies. Please do not upload django1.7 to unstable at this time. Any hints on a fix for django-testscenarios are welcome but support for django1.6 *must* be retained. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
