The new version 0.8.9 is the last one in the 0.8 series and is probably a good choice for jessie. I like esp. that the GitPoller can now be configured to poll all available branches. This makes it easy to e.g. poll (and build) all branches matching a regex. A backport to wheezy would be nice, too.
