No, the purpose is to mark the bug as closed in that particular version.

The way to do that is actually "bts found bug version".


I think that the bts command should continue to provide a 1:1 mapping
with bug manipulation commands in the BTS. If you find the BTS's choices
of commands for these things could use improvement, I think you should
get it fixed there first.
