Package: ifupdown Version: 0.7.48.1 Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer, When you have an 'iface eth0 inet6 static' stanza in /etc/network/interfaces, ifup tries to set net.ipv6.conf.eth0.autoconf to 0. That might sound quite reasonable, but in LXC containers that will often fail. Please check that sysctl and if it is already set to 0, don't try to set it. - Alternatively: try to set it but if setting it fails, check if it already is 0, and don't fail in that case - that won't affect the runtime in the ordinary case. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.10.47-20140707-0900-b2df1b1 (SMP w/16 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages ifupdown depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii initscripts 2.88dsf-53.3 ii iproute 1:3.16.0-1 ii iproute2 3.16.0-1 ii libc6 2.19-7 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13 Versions of packages ifupdown recommends: ii isc-dhcp-client [dhcp-client] 4.3.0+dfsg-2 Versions of packages ifupdown suggests: ii net-tools 1.60-26 pn ppp <none> pn rdnssd <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
