Hi Roland, I would like to have Jessie shipping an up-to-date OFED stack. With that goal, I have been working in all the packages maintained by the pkg-ofed "team" in the last weeks. I also would like having libipathverbs and librdmacm updated for Jessie. Since I'm on it, I don't mind updating libnes although we don't use it.
I don't know if you have time for it before the freeze, so I thought the best solution is re-taking them under the umbrella of the pkg-ofed keeping you as uploader, update the packages in the pkg-ofed's git repository and upload them to delayed-15. In this way, you have a couple of weeks to look at the changes if you can and they'll enter in the archive in the beginning of September. Time enough to migrate to testing before the freeze.
