Very sorry about the lack of information in this bug. Actually, the problem is that the new version of subsurface needs libgit2 and it is not yet in Debian unstable. So, I see a few potential solutions: * upload the new version of subsurface in experimental * disable libgit2 features (I don't think it is possible) * convince Russell Sim to upload it in unstable I would happy to sponsor this.
