Hi Christian,

I am currently trying to package GNUnet 0.10.1. Unfortunately, I don't
know what to do with the libgnurl dependency, making it a blocking issue
for gnunet 0.10 to enter Debian.

I do not intend to package nor maintain libgnurl in Debian. I could
build GNUnet without http support, but this would be a real shame.

As I understand your explanation [1], the main issue with libcurl is
that it might be outdated when you work on GNUnet. But when I package
GNUnet for Debian, libcurl isn't outdated anymore. I think I could build
GNUnet against libcurl. Do you think it would be possible to add a
configure option to build against libcurl instead of libgnurl ? Or do
you see a better solution to allow GNUnet 0.10.1 to enter Debian ?

Thanks,
Bertrand
