>From the description this doesn't sound like a solution: it says, it repacks also bzip2 archives, although these are valid tarball formats for dpkg. So is this parameter description wrong? If yes, when does it work? I want a parameter that works on a case-by-case base, not something that always does a repack. And given the fact, that "pasv" is also a valid opts line parameter, it would be logical to allow repack here too. Ditto for the compression=... parameter.
