This is my usual bug report about the compatibility of the GNOME applet with the latest GNOME release (3.14 in that case, which is the one which will be released with Jessie). It looks like adding "3.14" to metadata.json is enough to make the applet functional. There are still some display problems on my machine, but this looks more like a global color theming problem with GNOME. Thanks, -- .''`.
