Given this watch file ... ------------- version=3 opts=pgpsigurlmangle=s/$/.sig/ \ ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autogen/rel([\d\.]+)/autogen-([\d\.]+)\.tar\.(?:xz|bz2|gz) ------------- ... uscan finds both .gz and .xz but selects the gzip version for download. Switching the two alternatives in the regex does not change this. I think it simply selects the first match in alphabetic ordering.
