At least it wouldn't be wise to update mongodb package to v2.6.x as it would harden the upgrade path even more. You know, only 2.0 -> 2.2 -> 2.4 upgrades are supported officially. This way the current situation is questionable, as Wheezy has 2.0.6 and you already have to skip the 2.2 upgrade somehow. Is there anything you especially need in 2.6.x? I may still provide packages for it, but the Jessie freeze is so close. :-| Can you test Wheezy -> Jessie upgrades or if I provide test packages for 2.6.x then test the possibility of 2.0 -> 2.6 upgrade?
