I'm also seeing this issue on sid version. When I run expire-caller script, it fails since: Checking/Updating debrep/dists/experimental/InRelease... 503 DNS error for hostname debrep: Name or service not known. If debrep refers to a configured cache If I understood correctly, debrep is the directory that maps all the files from "official" Debian mirrors, in my case: deb http://ftp.es.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free deb-src http://ftp.es.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free deb [ arch=amd64 ] http://ftp.es.debian.org/debian/ experimental main contrib non-free deb-src [ arch=amd64 ] http://ftp.es.debian.org/debian/ experimental main contrib non-free This is as per acng.conf file: Remap-debrep: file:deb_mirror*.gz /debian ; file:backends_debian # Debian Archives Problem here is that, unlike some other repos as http://www.emdebian.org/ which holds its own directory, debrep is not valid as a hostname, hence the 503 DNS error and the expire failure. Any hint on how to proceed here?
