After a loss of power I rebooted and it seemingly hung on fsck (last visible line was something with systemd-fsck), but on rebooting in recovery I got the [ *** ] A start job is running for LSB: Raise network interfaces.
as well. I "fixed" it by booting single user mode and removing firestarter, which I suspected, as it was the only result of grep -r restart /etc/network I have systemd 208-8.
