Have you tested that it will build with recent versions? We recently shifted the packaging to use "make all", but I'm not sure that will generate the u-boot.img used in the r2dplus target (just u-boot.bin).
I haven't tested it yet, I will be able to in the upcoming days when the machine has finished building gcc-4.9.
