Hi, I realized this bug/patch already exist. Here is a patch that I did before finding this ticket.
It just reuses the existing method for testing and – to me – seems to be the most straight-forward implementation of this feature. However, this patch has been generated against the version that’s currently shipped in wheezy-backports (1.5.4-1~bpo70+2).
