Package: yaclc Version: 1.4.1 Severity: normal Tags: patch
Hello Thomas, The debian/copyright file shipped with yaclc is incorrect and incomplete: 1) It lacks the copyright holder, and after the heading "Copyright" follows text which is the licence. 2) debian/copyright mentions the GNU General Public License as the licence, while the source (/usr/bin/yaclc) claims "You may distribute it under the terms of the GNU Lesser GPL", so the LGPL. Changing the text to look like this would solve the problems: === Copyright 2001 by Thomas Smith. License: This is free software. You may distribute it under the terms of the GNU Lesser GPL, any version. On Debian systems, the complete text of the GNU Lesser GPL can be found in the `/usr/share/common-licenses' directory. === bye, Thijs -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages yaclc depends on: ii libnet-ldap-perl 1:0.33-2 A Client interface to LDAP servers ii liburi-perl 1.35-1 Manipulates and accesses URI strin ii libwww-perl 5.803-4 WWW client/server library for Perl ii perl 5.8.7-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-modules 5.8.7-8 Core Perl modules yaclc recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
