Missed one line. I did copied qemu-s390x-static binary into /usr/bin of the target rootfs. I also re-do with qemu-debootstrap but get the same error. > $ sudo chroot ./rootfs /debootstrap/debootstrap --second-stage A note that debootstraping s390x jessie or s390x sid completed successfully. Only Wheezy fails. I also went to check file checksum of base-passwd_3.5.26_s390x.deb, and it does have the correct checksum as shown in packages page. -- You-Sheng Yang (Vicamo)
