Well, my view is that adns is operating correctly.
If you don't want it to do this check, then you can use
adns_r_ptr_raw (in the C interface), which can be requested with
`adnshost t ptr-'.
As upstream, I am therefore not going to change the behaviour here.

You mentioned that as a side rant. It wasn't relevant so this bug
