Thank you for this update and fix. It is a nice improvement. Sorry for the delay in responding. I have verified the fix and all is working. The new location for the cache files is in /run/blkid/ and out of /etc now. To be completely clean it would be nice if the package removed the old location on upgrade. The admin may remove these files to clean up their system. These files are left behind as lint now. rm /etc/blkid.tab /etc/blkid.tab.old Thank you for maintaining blkid!
